I mean, it’s the same one really, but you get what I mean…
It took quite a few hours and half a week staying up until 1AM to get WordPress to cooperate after I got the domain and server set up, but here we are! Rather than do anything fancy that could break suddenly, I opted to keep the design of KraftyCats as simple and clean as possible, whilst still using the classic colours of the logo.
With a comparatively ample 10GB of storage space to use on the current plan (as opposed to the 500MB Wix had reduced me to) I should hopefully have enough to keep the blog going for a few years, as long as I’m careful to compress photos. As much as I’d like to upload super crisp 5.6MB images for my reviews, that would eat up space and make loading times much longer, so I’ll be a bit more conservative where I can. For the same reason, I’m not going to upload all my content from the previous site to this one – I’ll manually import some of the more useful posts and those that got a lot of views, but I’ll be writing new reviews of old and new products. I’m taking this chance to start with a clean slate, update older content and improve my future articles!
